INFORMATION ABOUT CARDIOLOGY

A heart attack occurs when the artery supplying the heart with blood is blocked, usually by a blood clot.

The lack of blood supply causes a segment of heart muscle to die. Strokes occur when the blood vessel that carries oxygen to the brain is either blocked by a blood clot or ruptures.

Your body’s circulation system is responsible for sending blood, oxygen, and nutrients throughout your body. Poor circulation happens when the blood flow to a specific part of your body is reduced. It isn’t a condition but is caused by other underlying health issues.
